KALA designs communication paths between CASC or CURIOTEC weighing equipment and PLCs, computers, remote displays, printers, SCADA platforms and business software. The correct protocol depends on distance, noise environment, update rate, device count and existing infrastructure.

Physical Layer Commissioning
Before analysing frames, KALA verifies cable topology, polarity, shield bonding, reference ground, termination resistors, biasing, connectors and surge protection. We then confirm baud rate, parity, stop bits, addressing and command timing — building a documented baseline for the integration team.
From Protocol to Usable Data
Read stable weight, status and zero state from indicator
Monitor individual digital load cells via CASC KDB-D or CURIOTEC RPWB-D bus
Send weight data to PLC, SCADA, MES or PC applications
Drive remote displays and ticket printers over RS-232 or RS-485
Log diagnostic values (raw counts, corner gains, overload flags) for preventive maintenance
