Indicators & Display Units
KALA configures weighing indicators for truck scales and industrial systems — matching load-cell type, resolution, filtering, zero tracking, calibration and operator workflow. The CASC DS8 is the primary platform: it supports multiple addressed digital load cells, individual cell monitoring and corner correction via RS-485. The CDS8 module offers a compact integration option for OEM applications.
Configuration & Integration
▶ Indicator Configuration
- Zero, span and multi-point calibration
- Digital cell addressing and corner adjustment
- Filter and stability settings for site conditions
- Ticket formats, records and report templates
▶ Data & Integration
- RS-232 / RS-485 links to printers and computers
- Modbus RTU output for PLC / SCADA
- Weighing-software interface and data export
- Parameter backup for fast service recovery
Before handover, KALA tests repeatability, eccentric loading, data output and operator functions as one workflow — then documents model, firmware version, calibration values, cell addresses, communication settings and peripheral connections so future maintenance can be performed quickly and safely.
Commissioning Checklist
Zero, span and multi-point calibration with traceable test loads
Digital cell addressing and individual corner adjustment
Filter, stability and update-rate settings for site conditions
RS-232 / RS-485 output verified to printer, display and PC
Ticket format, tare handling and operator workflow confirmed
Applications
KALA indicator projects span truck scale stations, factory in/out weighbridges, agricultural purchasing points and logistics yards. Each site gets a configuration record covering all parameters needed to restore the system after a hardware replacement — without recalibration from scratch.
